Stuff-a-Sock Deadline Fast Approaching!!

The deadline for stuffed socks, sock items and monetary donations is this coming Wednesday, December 3rd.   Donations can be dropped off during business hours (8:30-4:30, M-F) at our office located at 39 Pippy Place (The Ultramar Building). If for whatever reason you are unable to make it to our office during these times, please email to make alternate arrangements. For the past 6 years, United Way has teamed up with charities and workplaces across the province to coordinate its annual Stuff-a-Sock Campaign. New Poster Series Launched!

United Way Newfoundland and Labrador has just launched a new poster series profiling individuals who have benefited as a result of United Way Funding. It's one thing to tell you about the various charities and projects we fund province-wide, but it's another to show and tell you the stories of those impacted most by your donation to our Community Fund. United Way NL distributes over $652,000 to 54 NL Charities

United Way of Newfoundland & Labrador has once again invested hundreds of thousands of dollars into the province’s charitable sector using funds raised during its 2013 annual workplace campaign. A total of 54 charities throughout our province will receive funding for a variety of programs and projects. The value of grants being disbursed total just over $652,000. 2013 Campaign Announcement

On April 10th, 2014 we held our Campaign Celebrations where we announced the total raised during the 2013 Campaign. With big smiles we were pleased to reveal a fundraised amount of $1,164, 061.90! It was truly a great evening, and we were thrilled to be spending it with so many of the individuals who made the new record possible. Throughout the Evening, workplaces who participated during our 2013 campaign were awarded Merit, Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum certificates for their contributions. ANNUAL DAY OF CARING - June 5th, 2014

On June 5th, 2014, United Way will be hosting its 4th Annual Day of Caring. Each year, we bring together charities/non-profits and volunteers from our workplaces, for a full day of volunteering. Campaign Celebration!

On Thursday April 10th, at its annual Campaign Celebration event, United Way of Newfoundland and Labrador will publicly reveal its 2013 campaign results.  Through workplace campaigns running throughout the entire province, once again the community at large has come through to support United Way and the work this organization does throughout Newfoundland & Labrador.  United Way will distribute its Annual Spirit Awards, to honor organizations and individuals who made outstanding contributions to the 2013 United Way workplace campaign.
