INVESTING IN OUR COMMUNITY

Each year, United Way works closely with local companies and government departments to raise funds to invest into various programs and projects throughout the province. Of the funds raised, dollars designated specifically to United Way are made available to Newfoundland and Labrador charities through our Community Fund grants. These grants are awarded once a year through an application process.

We are now accepting applications for our 2017 Community Fund Grants!

-> 2017 Application Guide

What else do I need to know?

This year we have introduced new policies around how we receive our applications in order to remain efficient from an administrative perspective. Here are some key changes to note:

  • Applications must be typed, we can no longer accept hand-written applications
  • Applications are to be submitted via email. The signature page must be scanned and attached to your final document – or populated by digital signatures.  Annual Reports, financials, Board lists and any other documents deemed relevant must be added as an appendix to your application or attached to the email.
  • Applications missing critical pieces of information may be declined. Please be sure to submit all components of your application.
