Lions around the world are united by a great spirit of giving and dedication to helping others. As the official charitable organization of Lions Clubs International, Lions Clubs International Foundation (LCIF) supports Lions' compassionate works by providing grant funding for their local and global humanitarian efforts.

Program: Kiddie Park Project $7,740.50 (2011) $7,500 (2012): The purpose of this project was to enhance playground equipment so it could be used by all community members. New equipment now exceeds the requirements of the American Disabilities Association and provides a safe space for all children to gather and play.

Funding from United Way helped to cover the costs of this new equipment, which resulted in more efficient completion of the project.

Program: Kiddies Park Project  $7,500 (2010): The Kiddies Park Project is a playground area that was in need of major upgrading. It was developed to provide a safe, green space for the children in the Pouch Cove community to play.
Funding from United Way   was used to purchase and install playground equipment as well as to develop the property.
